Alten8 To Develop "Luc Bernard's Eternity's Child" Alten8 has agreed with Luc Bernard on the creation and publication of Nintendo DS and Wii versions of the Eternitys Child game , bringing this delightful creation to an even wider audience. Luc will be working closely with Alten8 to bring his creations to life on these formats ________________________________________________________________ The story of Eternitys Child and the orphan ‘Angel’ - the planet on which Eternity's Child is set on. The planet was once filled with many living creatures and vast forests, however due to the pollution created by the habitants the icebergs melted and the whole planet was flooded and most of the creatures became extinct. The creatures without wings that were left became jealous of the ones with wings (that allowed them to survive the flooding), so the land creatures started murdering all the winged creatures until there was none left. To repopulate the world, many mechanical robots were created so that the world would not seem as empty as before, but most of those creatures got out of control and started attacking and destroying what was left. Eternity's Child Wii version details - Angel was left at the door of a orphanage when he was a baby, to protect him from being murdered his wings were cut off. The years went by as he stayed in that orphanage, not accepted by the other children and being often tortured and picked on. Angel then escapes from the orphanage to try to find any remaining creatures of his species and hoping to be accepted by them despite him not having his wings. Details about Wii version –

Having signed a deal with Pixel Magick to bring their best selling game, Wordsnake, to the Nintendo DS, PC , and then Wii. Pixel Magick will be working closely with Alten8 to ensure all the playability and addictivness of the original are preserved in this new version which will feature several improvements and new features. Alten8 Announces 5 Game Publishing Deal with IME GAMES Alten8 is pleased to be announcing an initial five game publishing deal , with up to 12 titles being delivered over the next 24 months by IME . With world wide boxed distribution rights (excluding South Africa) , and world wide digital distribution rights Alten8 is very excited at the excellent prospects for these titles. IME based in South Africa , is a new dynamic team , being one of the first commercial PC gaming developers in the country , with team members having international experience gained through working on such projects as DICE , and XBox titles Final Armada and Chase , as well as other PC projects for other companies. First to be released in late June , will be CRT (Crisis Response Team) - This is a multi-player title, in which the player joins one of two teams, CRT or GLF (Global Liberation Front) and enters various combat zones using modern day weapons. It features 14 arena maps, and two training scenarios. The four other games planned for staggered release in 2006 , and in advanced stages of completion are – Mercury - Set aboard the USMC Viridian, the player is awakened from stasis , to find a deserted hostile ship. Not remembering their own identity, subject 09 will have to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the crew and avert the ship's navcom sending the ship to the surface of mercury. Players will face a hostile force in the ships own AI and will have to survive countless levels of danger as they fight their way through 28 harrowing levels filled with Cyborg commandos and other dangers. This title has 28 levels, all with a unique free roaming exploration method , as well as 2 training maps. Sturmgart - This features authentic WWll weapons and maps , and allows players to play as either 101st airborne soldiers , or as Waffen SS troops. Outbreak (The Prologue to Viral) - Outbreak sees the player taking on the role of Jason Nevins, security chief at a research facility. A new sample, called the K-sample is brought in for analysis and then everything starts going wrong. Due to a leaky extractor in one of the processors running the tests, the lab staff start to get infected and turn into flesh eating zombies. Facing numerous threats the player must kill or be killed. The game features 11 levels inside the lab and 5 multi-player arena maps. Viral - Viral takes place two years after Outbreak. After stabilising and containing the infection, Jason Nevins now works at the local Police dept. The player plays Matthew Nevins, his son, while studying at college Matthew is caught in the middle of a secondary outbreak, this one city-wide and not contained in the lab. Fighting his way through Dormooms, abandoned streets, a hospital etc, Jason now tries to get to his father in the hopes of surviving the virus. This title features 16 playable levels, driven by a strong story line. |

Alten8 would like to announce after the recent headlines over the, about to be released Office Massacre phone game, it decided to stop the games release in that version. After genuine shock at the negative press being generated after a few individuals commented on the game , which was seen as nothing more than a cartoon game by those involved with it , Alten8 decided the right moral decision to take , was to remove the game before it went to market in that form. No offence to any party was intended by this original game. Further to that decision and in conjunction with the original development team , Zen Design , the game is being quickly reworked , and graphical and plot changes made to rebrand the game as OFFICE ZOMBIES. These changes , and further porting will take a very short space of time to carry out. We hope this will reassure the critics of Alten8 , and the game itself , of Alten8’s social and business model. We also hope that it will align the game more in the genre of other accepted Zombie style games , as opposed to some extreme violence games , which it was being compared to. From Developer , To Publisher , To Distributor Alten8 is please to announce the next step in its continued business expansion. After months of frustration in talks with various publishers Alten8 has decided to bring forward its plans for independent publishing status. With titles already signed to other publishers such as GT Racer for the GBA , Alten8 is releasing several product ranges in the next few months independently. A range of games for the PC is first in the pipeline , with full price PC games , for sale across territories in Europe , and other territories also. A second range of budget games is also being released under the brand name of ‘Budjet’ , in a similar vein to other budget PC game lines , it will offer a range of games which have previously been released in the shops but at the price range of RRP £4.99 , as well as all new games as yet unreleased , which fit the category and are signed but as yet unannounced by Alten8. The back catalogue of over 500 retro licensed games will also feature in this line up. Full product details to be announced over the following weeks. A first initial GBA release of the ‘Broken Circle’ game is also planned for this year , which if successful , the range of games already held by Alten8 for GBA but as yet unsigned will follow. In addition to this the planned digital distribution arm of the company will go live in a few weeks time , with digital downloads , of Phone content , PPC , PC , music and film. ‘Broken Circle’ – GBA game Prequel for phones !Alten8 is please to announce that in conjunction with 7Raven Studios a prequel to the forth-coming GBA game Broken Circle is now in production. Following the excellent feedback on the Q1 release of ‘Oracle’ for phones , which is a quality all new RPG , it seems a logical step to do a prequel for Broken Circle leading into the release of the GBA full version. The Broken Circle prequel is planned to be released across a range of around 150 phones which are java enabled , with Symbian versions also. Broken Circle is a quality GBA game with around 40 hours of game play. A further range of screen shots and video clips are available on request from Alten8 for the GBA version.
